K 93 (L 336) in g-moll. Die letzte der fünf Fugen Scarlattis und das letzte Stück in der Venediger Handschrift von 1742. "The theme is rather academic and the four voices move along most of the time in parallel.” (Begleitbuch zu Scarlatti The Sonatas Scott Ross, Erato Disques 1988,S.84). Klingt aber trotzdem gut.

K 94 in F-Dur. Ein kurzes Menuett, langsam, mit einigen Dissonanzen. Es ist der letzte Satz der Tocata X in der Handschrift Coimbra MS 58. Für Alain de Chambure hat es eine für Scarlatti unübliche Form: "The opening theme reappears without alteration a few bars before the end." (Begleitbuch zu Scarlatti The Sonatas Scott Ross, Erato Disques 1988,S.85).

Bei einem Besuch des EMI Plattenladens in Wien endlich die Scarlatti Piano Sonatas von Yevgeny Sudbin (©2004 BIS CD 1508) gekauft, eine zurecht hochgelobte, prämierte CD!

K 95 (L 358) in C-Dur. Scheint ziemlich anspruchsvoll zu spielen zu sein: "This sonata is by way of being a study for right-hand crossing over a non-stop triplet figuration played by the left hand." (Begleitbuch zu Scarlatti The Sonatas Scott Ross, Erato Disques 1988,S.85). Ross spielt es rasend schnell, ein musikalisches Feuerwerk!
